Me and matt took the drive over to the river and although we got their roughly a 1/2 hour later then we had intended, we both woke up a bit late, i was surprised that someone beat us there. 1st come 1st serve. he told us where he was going and we had to adjust where we were gonna start since his plan was the same as we had planned. we fished thru some good water with minimal fish seen, we didn't see the amount of fish we normally do. we managed a couple of fish but they didn't seem overly interested in our offerings. after fishing for awhile all of a sudden the water went straight brown. their were some big rigs working in the area and as it turned out there was a big cat (tractor type) in the river placing big boulders in the river to improve trout habitat. we talked to the supervisor for awhile and he explained to us the project they were doing and gonna continue to do in certain stretches. anyway that alleviated a lot of normally good water for us. we got above the river work but the fishing never amounted to much. matt got a couple more decent cutthroat but over all the fishing sucked.
