Last planned stillwater trip of the year

matt and dakota picked me up a little after 6am. we got  to the west side of the lake around 830am but the finger i wanted to fish, based on last years november production, was all dried up. the water this november is a lot lower then last. we drove over to a good looking cove and made the long hike down to the lake from the road only to find very little fishy water due to the water levels. hiked back out and headed to the east side and even though we got into some fish, a majority were dink planter rainbows. for example, i caught 13 fish, all rainbows and nothing over 12 inches. matt was the only one to muster anything decent.
