I let austin play hookie today from school and took him to the river instead. we joined up with dbone and headed out. was a pretty good day. no big browns like i was hoping but some decent brooks and a couple of solid rainbows.
Any time you get to spend a day on the water with your boy is a "respectable day" regardless of how the catching was. But the catching looked good too.
