A lengthy section

me and matt hit a usual spot due to current river conditions.  it was extremely slow although towards the end we got into a few fish. some caught and some missed. the weather was gorgeous out though

Friday fun

My friday off so i took a drive to search for some fishable water. between the warmer temps and rain the rivers have been off some. i found a piece and it did not disappoint. my shoulder caused me to call it quits earlier then i wanted but i was able to cover a nice chunk of water anyway. it was supposed to rain all day but i was lucky in that it didnt rain on me much. weather was plenty other then the dreerieness. my biggest was 23".

High waters

The warm weather we have been having over the last month has caused early snowmelt and all of our rivers are high and off color around here. i still went out and checked out a little piece, caught a couple

Took a drive to the mountains

headed to some elevation to survey some stillwater. partially frozen but we found enough open water. wasnt till the end of the day that we finally started getting into some fish. i only caught 2 small brookies but matt did muster a decent brown. aside from the wind and cold in the A.M. it was a pretty nice day

since the rivers are currently shot around my neck of the woods i drove over to a different river and a lake in that area. that river was also blown and the lake is still froze over except the left finger which always seems to thaw 1st. when i was up high and over looking the lake i noticed that someone had gone to the center of the lake and had written in giant letters, FUCK JOE BIDEN. comical. fished a small section of the thawed stuff but saw or felt nothing

A day off is a day out

 Well for at least an hour or 2. went out at 0700 and found a little piece all to myself. the weather was warm for march annd although the fishing wasnt as good as last time there, the fish were still moving just not as many and no bigger ones. still a fun morning

A quickie after work

just went for a quick drive upriver. most of the local waters are still dirty but i found a piece that was doable. proved to be pretty productive as far as moving fish but i only landed a small few but the 1st one was a nice little cutt.
