Twas a good morning...

...then came afternoon and for some reason it went to shit. i expected things to get better come afternoon but the fish had other ideas. we had a great morning up to a certain point on the river which coincided with afternoon. we still picked up a few fish but nothing like the morning. still amounted to a pretty damn good day for myself and matt

Not much going on

Chris was supposed to join me and matt but he wasnt feeling good this morning so myself and matt fished 2 different sections and they both sucked. it is what it is though. sometimes its good and sometimes its not so good

Warm day

Temps in the 40s and the sun out makes for a really pleasant day. unfortunately the wind picked up which made casting a bitch for myself and nate. we caught a few fish but nothing sizeable. always good to be out

Some after work solo action

Got out yesterday after work for a couple of hours. started with olive but it did not produce, wanted white but i forgot to put white in my little streamer box so i went to a yellow and gold. turned a handful of fish, lost 1 and landed 4. it was snowing pretty good and the snow was very wet and heavy so once i started getting good and wet underneath my rain jacket then it was time to call it

One day closer to spring

Went out for a few hours. the first section fished alright but once that artic breeze came thru and the temps dropped, the fishing seemed to shutdown. that is how the second section went

Schoolin!

It wasnt a big numbers game but they were all quality fish. matt schooled me this day, in fact in 1

run matt was up first, landed a big fish, then my turn to finish it up, hooked up with a real nice fish but lost it. matt came in behind me and cleaned up with 2 more fish. just how  the day went. i only landed 1 but it was the biggest of the day
