Another hour or so

 yes just another hour or so trying to work my arm out.  moved a few fish but it was slow

Post Xmas day

Went out for a couple of hours and theres still a good amount of pain with casting, my shoulder is getting better. a work in progress. moved a good amount of fish and landed a couple. snowed like a bitch which always makes for some good fishing.

 

Local

 went back out friday to see what the river is like. low, clear and most of the moss is all but gone. fished for about and an hour and landed 3. better then a kick in the ass. didnt see anything big

Trying to ramp up

I dont want to overdue it with my post surgery shoulder but i joined matt for about 40 minutes on the water. again i was hurting early so i didnt last an hour. matt knew ahead of time that i wouldnt be lasting long so no biggie. the water is low, as per usual for post spawn. the fishing was blah but a couple fish were landed

Post surgery

had shoulder surgery back on Nov 2 so almost exactly a month later, the brown spawn just ended here in these parts so decided to go out last friday to see what exactly my limitations are. tried casting right handed bit that didnt go well. good thing we have small water so i dont have to cast very far. i cant get my elbow away from my body and i cant raise my arm. so my cast was with my T-Rex arm and of course all wrist. after the 1st run my arm was on fire and i ended up lasting about 40 minutes. moved a few and landed a fat hen

 

The big lake

 I was hoping to get one last outing before my shoulder surgery here in a bit sp me and matt hit strawberry res. the fishing was pretty good on a mouse before the sun came up. it died down but we managed a few on streamers as well. only 3/4 of a day but it wasnt to bad. the weather was partially sunny and about 60ish

Last hoorah

This was my last outing on the local rivers until after the browns are done spawning, so sometime in december. wasnt a very good fall haul but we got a few good fish along the way.

Crunch time

Been trying to get in as much time as possible since i have surgery in a week and a half. me and matt made it out sunday as well. once again the river did not fish well. it just has not been much of a productive fall for us. we got a few fish but not much going on. the weather was great at least

The Berry

 me, matt and dbone headed over to the res to pound the banks. the weather was pretty good but the fishing was trash. 3 people and about 7 fish. not a very productive day of nymphing or streamering

A change in weather

.....resulted in key pieces of river to be a little more fishable. fished a familiar  piece that i hadnt seen all summer and although it didnt fish as well as i figured it would, it did fish pretty decently including moving a couple of really nice fish. the weather was overcast and about 50 degrees. perfect!
