Was only supposed to be evening showers

As unluck would have it the moisture started almost immediately for me and chris. it started off as a sprinkle at first but then slowly picked up and became a pretty solid rain for the rest of the day. the wknd before i did pretty well with streamers and there were no fish rising. on this day there were a lot of fish rising and our streamers weren't getting much attention. chris also had a rod rigged with chironomids  and mustered a few bows on those. i did get 3 on a streamer but no big fish this time. chris landed the biggest fish of the day, a 19 inch bow. we did see quite a few critters on the way there and back
