I had planned on fishing up but decided since i hadnt seen the downstream stuff in a couple of years i decided to walk down and then fish my way up. i hit a couple runs on the way down and landed a couple of fish. once i got to the point of starting my way up, i nailed a few fish in the deep slow stuff and got into a few more fish on my way back up to my jeep. nothing big but a fun couple morning hours
Couldnt decide where i wanted to fish or if i even wanted go out in the cold but i made it out for a short hour, maybe 2. that section has been fishing well in spots but not today. only moved 2 fish and landed 1 of them. nothing of note but still holding good colors on this young buck
It was a perfect weather morning. it was damp, foggy and fairly warm. the fish bite was only early but then really fizzled on us as we got further upstream. we ran into some real nice fish but the bigger ones were not to be had. we did muster some decent fish though.
I went back to the same section i had fished a few days earlier due to the amount of quality fish i moved, but couldnt land and matt came out and joined me. it rained on us pretty good most of the afternoon but we did get into a few fish, not like the other day but matt did land a decent fish in the 19-20 inch range
Had to take the day off the other day so i chose to hit the water for a couple hours in the morning. moved a good amount of fish and saw a handful of real nice fish, but couldnt land any of them. did manage to land 3 cutthroat though and that is very odd that all i caught were cutts. the morning was brisk but pleasant
