Memorial Day My Way

I spent memorial day just how i like.....throwing flies.

Different Sections

I was on call till about noon so i fished a usual section, which was slow, and then once i got the call not to come into work, i fished a different section that i had not touched in quite sometime. while walking the shoreline from one run to another i ran into what i believe was a bull snake. it kept hissing and striking at me. its lucky it didnt feel the bottom of my boot for being such a dick to me, but after a few shots i left it alone.

A Bump in Flows

Flows were bumped a little so i drove up to check it out. although the river is still low, its way better then it has been, the fishing was a bit disappointing though.

Monday Quickie

chucked streamers for about 2 hours, the end.

A Little Short

Wasnt gonna be out that long anyhow but it was cut even shorted when the school called me to pick alanna for throwing big fits again. didnt get skunked at least

After Work Fling

After work headed over to the river for a short few hours. got into a few fish while landing 4, including 2 cutties, which i hadnt seen since all year.

A Little Stillwater

Got off to a late start but after i picked up dbone and drake we were on the road. the weather was great for us until the end of the day when the wind kicked up.  although still water is not my forte, i was down for some. what few fish were caught were mostly smaller rainbows. i took a decent brown but the day, if not year, was made when dbone roped into a brute of a vrown that measured just shy of 29" and if it was laying flat it probably would have gone 30+. after a long fight and some shaky net handling the slab came to hand.
