A rare rainbow

me and matt headed out at o'dark thirty as we always do. the weather was good and we got into a decent amount of fish. i ended up hooking into a holdover rainbow hatchery brat. god they are ugly fish. twas a decent day

After work

 Went out for a couple hrs after work. slow but got into 1 or 2

Morning solo session

It was supposed to storm but the weather held out till i was off the river. i fished a couple of sections but neither did much producing. gotta couple of smaller fish, didnt see anything big

Cut out early

Matt gave me a shout that he was leaving work early to fish. i of course was down. the fishing has started to pick up but this wasnt the day. matt did get into a few fish and i came up empty handed. great weather though

Nobody around

Gotta love it when you show up to the piece of water you want to fish and there is no one around. the weather was good but the fishing was so so, which even out the shit fishing i had and the few fish that matt got into. matt got some good fish

Starting to pick up

Since i had friday off i went out to look for soome fishable water. found a little piece that was surprisingly void of people. the weather was great and i got into a handful of good

fish 

Big fish day

It was the best big fish day that ive had in awhile. saw 6 that were at least 20" and 2 for sure that were 2 footers. i lost my 1st 2 footer of the day within net range, but no net on me. i was eventually rewarded with a 21 incher which was my biggest to hand that day. pleasant weather and day.
