Something new

 me and chris were gonna take a bit of a stroll south for some ice off action but the report wasnt great so we decided to stay a bit closer. we still found some ice off bit it wasnt much and we didnt see any fish. its a res. i hadnt seen before so i will have to take another look some other time

Weekday off

 Had a couple of appt's in the morning so i just went ahead and took the whole day off. after the appt's i headed to the river. no one was really out so i had the river to myself. was a pretty good afternoon

Sunday morning stroll

 Went out for a few hours in the morning while the family slept. the fishing was pretty good with a couple 20's caught and 1 two footer missed.

Saturday morning quickie

 got the river while it was still dark. fished all the way to the top of the section but with the water as low as it is and the fishable holes at were minimal. i had fished my way thru and was done by 0900. most everything around here still needs water. the fishing stasrted off hot but then fizzled

A short day

 Hit the water for a few hours with minimal success. i ended up with 3 small fish but the weather was great and the peace and quiet was wonderful

Boy wonder

 Got my step son out locally for a couple of hours which generally never happens. we had a goo time, moved a few fish and he even caught one. a small one but we were both stoked

Getting closer

Dbone picked me up the house and we took a journey that led us to couple of different places before we decided on what to fish. it doesnt seem as though our choice was a good one. 3hrs of fishing and i caught the only fish of the morning. shane met up with us and we drove down river a bit and checked out something a bit more rural. it sucked as well. the temps hit 53 degrees though and i was down to a short sleeve T-shirt so that made the day. the fishing has still been slow but we are getting closer as the streamer bite usually starts picking up mid/late feb.
