The usual quickie

After work ill often head out for about an hour just for a quickie

A few hours

Met up with matt for a few hours in the canyon. it was nothing special but we did get into a few on mostly streamers but i also missed a couple on a mouse. also while walking the boulders along the shore i stumbled upon an appendage, maybe a raccoons.

A little boat ride

Nate picked me up in the morning and we headed to the lake to chase some tiger muskies. for most of the day the weather was great but at the end of our day the winds came. it was a weekend so there were quite a few boats on the water. i only had one follow on the day and nate had five, with one hook up that was short lived.

Dirtier waters

The water came up a bit and got diriter then the day before. it didnt seem to put the fish down at all as they were still all over a streamer. i started with a mouse but that didnt last long cause it just seemed a bit off for a mouse to me.

Mouse and stones

Went out for a minute. threw a mouse, got into a few fish. had a stud hooked for a split second then gone. saw some stones flying around

3 section day

Met up with matt at o'dark thirty. the 1st section we fished (done at 1030 am), was a pretty productive piece. lots of fish moving around. the 2nd section was considerably slower but then we were cut off by a dude at almost our get out point. matt called it a day after that but i wanted to look at another small piece since the water conditions had improved over the last few days. started with a streamer, got into a few and but fished that piece mostly with a mouse and in the last run i pulled a solid fish out with it.

Flows dropped

and the water cleared up. the flows dropped a bit and the water cleared up a little, not as much as id like but it was good enough for streamers. hit 2 different sections. moved some fish and landed a couple. always good to get out
