Dirtier waters

The water came up a bit and got diriter then the day before. it didnt seem to put the fish down at all as they were still all over a streamer. i started with a mouse but that didnt last long cause it just seemed a bit off for a mouse to me.

Mouse and stones

Went out for a minute. threw a mouse, got into a few fish. had a stud hooked for a split second then gone. saw some stones flying around

3 section day

Met up with matt at o'dark thirty. the 1st section we fished (done at 1030 am), was a pretty productive piece. lots of fish moving around. the 2nd section was considerably slower but then we were cut off by a dude at almost our get out point. matt called it a day after that but i wanted to look at another small piece since the water conditions had improved over the last few days. started with a streamer, got into a few and but fished that piece mostly with a mouse and in the last run i pulled a solid fish out with it.

Flows dropped

and the water cleared up. the flows dropped a bit and the water cleared up a little, not as much as id like but it was good enough for streamers. hit 2 different sections. moved some fish and landed a couple. always good to get out

Willard again

Headed back out with my daughter in tow. just another short outing on an hour or so. once again no wipers and  another smallie. man i have never caught so many smallies out there before

Mousing

To change things up, after work i took a drive to the moving water loaded with mice. took a minute but finally got some love. got blew up a couple times but finally got a hook up. not big but decent and on a mouse so its all good

Back on the moving shit

It felt really nice to be back on the moving waters again after weeks are stillwater. the fishing was pretty shit hot with a bunch offish moved and a good amount landed. nothing big and most fish were in the 14-18 inch range but thats alright it was a sweet ass time
