On the way back

Took a drive over to the lake to assess whats going on. the ice has just started melting from shore so its still a bit early. on the way home i swung by a small section of water to check the conditions. a little off but fishable. got into a few

Battling the conditions

Me and matt hit 3 different sections on the day. the 1st was pretty low but we got a few fish with matt getting 3 over 20". we then headed to a different section where the flows were still a bit high which made wading upstream quite a workout. fishing was tough but we got into some fish. then for the grand finally we drove elsewhere on the same river and the flows were a little on the low side again but again we got into a few fish

Between the high flows

There was really one day that most of the river became somewhat fishable last week in between high and muddy flows. me and matt caught it just right and got into a really good amount of fish with a couple over the 20" mark. weather was perfect

Muddy waters...

...have been plaguing our rivers for most of the week due to some warm weather run off. i went out after work just to take a quick peak. the water pretty much everywhere was high and muddy but i did find a section that was borderline as far as clarity goes. ive caught fish in worse so i rigged up and fished for about an hour. caught 1 and missed 2 others.

Slow couple of hours

Me, matt and nate met up for a couple of hours. the flows had come up quite a bit but was still under 100cfs. it was quite slow

A quick morning

got out for just a couple hours morning. got into a few fish

After work i met up with matt on the river. matt caught a couple small fish but i did not even move a fish
