A spike in flows....

....ended my day after just 2hrs. the water was great, the fishing was not, but i had just crossed the river, walked up about 20ft, stepped back in, made 2 casts and i noticed that all of a sudden the water seemed alot higher. then i noticed that all of a sudden the water was dirty, then i noticed all the debris coming down. well shit! then it was kind of a challenge to get back acrossed where  needed to be. i couldve driven upstream to look for somewhere else to fish but decided to just come home and run some errands

1/2 day

Met matt upriver at o'dark thirty. the flows had come up a little and although, usually as always, there was lots of optimism we didnt land many nor did we land any big fish. saw a few but thats how it goes sometimes.

A quick morning

After my wife went to work i went to the river for about 3hrs. i caught a few fish, one that was a good fish and the others were all small. it was a cold morning but still enjoyable

Another slow one

Me and matt headed upstream in anticipiation of some really good fishing. well it was garbage matt caught a few smaller to decent fish, i moved 2 and caught 1. it was garbage

We got a few

Me and matt met at 0'dark thirty and left one car up high and drove the other down low. was a section not fished in awhile but we got permission from the land owner and off we went. it was not near as good as we expected but it certainly couldve been worse. weather was great at least

Blemishes

After my out patient back surgery thingy mabob i went out to hit some moving water. i only caught 2 fish and interestingly

enough the 2 fish that i caught had some issues going on. the 1st fish had a nose issue and the 2nd fish was missing all of its lower jaw. i have fished that section for about a dozen years now and have never seen any fish deficiencies. crazy crazy

Out with Dbone

Dbone hasnt been doing much fishing for awhile since he has gotten into fixing up old trucks. we hadnt fished together in months so it was good to see him again. we fished a couple different sections of the weeb and they both sucked ass. the first section, for some reason was dirty but its to cold for anything to be melting so not sure where the stain is coming from, has been that way for a couple of weeks. we hit a few fish there but no hook ups. the other sections was a bit down stream and very clear. i caught 3 small fish and that was it between us. a disappointing day but enjoyable company
