Its still winter out there

Although i didnt think the temps were to bad, the shore and anchor ice said otherwise. me and matt hit a couple different sections with mediocre success but for a mid janruary day it wasnt terrible. i ended up hitting a 3rd section but matt bailed after 2 different ones

Went out for a short minute on saturday morning. lots of shore ice, anchor ice, partially frozen fly while in the water and did not move a single fish. i called it early

It was shit

Fished a fairly long section and it was shit. did land one at the end of the afternoon and missed one good fish. other then that, a couple small fish and didnt see much else

After work

Went out for a little over an hour after work. caught one fish, got high holed and missed a few more

Fished a good chunk of water and unfortunately it did not produce as well as it usually does. i did however get to wrastle a couple of fish so theres that. the weather was pretty damn good for a January day, nice and warm.

New years day

went out new years morning and mustered a few fish so that means i started my new years with fish. bonus!
