Nate had to bail so i was solo once again. the first section that i fished, i was high holed pretty early so didnt last very long there. managed a few fish, nothing of significance. drove down a bit lower and turned, according to my eyes, what possibly couldve been the biggest fish ive seen in the weeb. but couldnt get it to come back. netted a few more fish before i ended up calling it a day.

Felt good
With the crappy weather weve been having, thunder storms and rains, me and matt decided that cruising the shoreline for tiger musky probably wasnt the best choice so we found some river that was in fishable shape instead. between 2 different sections we did pretty damn good as far as quantity of fish and it felt pretty damn good to have such a good day. although the quantity was there, and we caught a good amount of solid fish, there was nothing big to hand, but thats alright. it is what it is. amazingly the rains kept of us pretty much all day so it was good.

Tres waters
Myself, matt and dakota started off at the lake. that lasted about 3 hours then after not seeing any fish, except a bunch of dead ones due to winter kill, we drove to a short piece of water, me and matt each caught a cuttie. we then drove to a third piece of water and got into a few fish including matt landing a 23" brown

Friday off
Winter came back for the day and snowed pretty good, the temps were also pretty chilled but definately tolerable. i saw a decent amount of fish with a couple of them being note worthy. only managed to land 3 with 1 of them being 20" so i am happy with that.

A little early this year
With all the extra snow weve had this year the timing is definitely different then last year. this time last year there was only a little bit of snow and a lot more open water. me and matt headed over there and the dirt road was still closed due to all the snow and there was very little open water. also there was plenty of post holing for us. we fished as much open water as we could find and then chose to move on to some moving water. we drove to some moving water but only lasted there about 1/2 hour due to the high flows which made the fishing really tough and crossing damn near impossible. we got back in the jeep and drove to another river. the flows were fine and although we moved a few fish, it sucked. a lot of driving for minimal fishing
