Gotta make time for the lake

Myself and matt met up with dbone and jake to get in some lake time. the weather was great aside from the wind, which did not even make an attempt to let up. the temps werent to bad and the sun was out most of the day. the fishing was slow with only about a dozen fish between the 4 of us. the expectations were high but the fish were not having it. leeches, mice and streamers all pulled fish

Fishing the ranch

Took matt up to some ranch access that i have with the target being the cutts. the weather was great, probably my last day wet wading but who knows. the water was perfect but the fishing was a little slow. i think we were probably a couple weeks late for primetime but we did get into some solid fish and got a shit ton of photos. it was a good day to be out and about.

Church...

Was still very low and vegged out. we were hoping that it wouldnt be quite that bad but it was. since it was a walk to the river and we were already geared up we fished anyway hoping we could find some fish in the holes but we didnt find much, we found a few including moving a couple that were the 20+ kind. after awhile we moved upstream further where there was a lot more water it was the same results as the lower water.

Back to the browns

Hooked up with jerry in the morning. i had gotten a report that the browns were starting to get aggressive so towards streamers so thats what we were armed with. the river fished ok for us, nothing special as far as quantity but we did get into some solid fish.

A tiger attempt

Gerald invited me out for some tiger musky fishing. we fished for about 3 hours or so and neither of us saw any fish. the end
