2 part day

i dropped my daughter off at school then i hit the river. i had plans to fish up to a certain point but a little over halfway there and i got high holed. i hadnt really done much to that point anyway so i walked back down to the jeep and drove lower on the river. i fished a short section and pulled a skinny 18 incher. i did move a couple of other decent fish though.

Left work early

Bounced from work an hour early so that i could get the last couple of hours of light on the river. got into a couple of smaller fish

Stranger things

headed over to the river, when  i got to the parking lot i noticed a couple of severed beavers feet and as i was fishing up the river i noticed a deer right along the river that was missing its head. the deer was also spray painted. obviously i found this very strange and was starting to wonder if someone was trying to put a voodoo hex on the river cause i didnt even move any fish. i did call the DWR and they told me that they were aware of the deer and they were the ones that painted it. i guess thats how they know that it is being looked into.

Paid a visit

headed to the river for a short minute. only ended up with 1 small fish.

10,000ft.

I picked up chris and we made the drive to a small stream at about 10,000ft. we got there and chris said he had never seen it this low at this time of year. i was colder then fuck  as well. we checked out a small section but did not see any fish. we decided to scrap that idea and drove back down in elevation and fished a little section of another small river but again not a single fish. we called it an early day.

Something different

Me and scott drove over to some water that i hadnt fished since early this year. the water there was pretty low as well and the streamer game was a no show again.

A quickie

After i took alanna to school i headed to the river. landed 1 and missed 1. a slow few hours
