The Slope

Me and scott made it over to the slope to fish a small stream with hopes of finding a bigger fish or two, bigger for this water that is (13-14 inches). we did not but the small fish gave us plenty of entertainment and the peace and quiet was extremely nice.

A Visit From Shayne

My daughter shayne was able to come out for a short visit before heading back to college. we got in one day of fishing but it was not a day either of us were hoping for but it is what it is.

Camping Weekend

Gathered up the crew and headed up the canyon for the weekend. me and ali got up there first and hit the river for a couple of hours. it wasnt until later in the evening, after michelle got off of work, that her and the rest of the kids came up. saturday we headed to the lake to lay around the beach and swim. there was a bull moose that hung around the camp site all weekend.

the weather was great all weekend and everyone had a good time

A Day With Corey

Myself and corey went out to scope out some waters and hopefully get some fishing in. coreys reports were about a week old and they werent overly good but we had to see how it looked now. the water was still a tad high and a little off color which hurt the dry fly fishing but streamers did pretty well.

Long Lake

Took the family, minus jasmine, for a hike in the mountains over the weekend. being a 3 day weekend the human traffic on the trails was crazy.2 legged creatures everywhere. it was alannas first hike and she did pretty well for a 7yr old. the fishing at the lake sucked but we werent there very long due to some dark clouds accompanied by rain that swooped in on us. it was good to spend the day in the great outdoors though.
