Lamson Warranty

I have to give props to lamson's warranty repair. i sent in my LS2 less then a week ago due to my drag free spooling and just got it back today with a new drag installed. less then a week and for a mere $20, kuddos to lamson.

One Wore out Pup

so me and dbone met up this morning to chuck some meat. i'm sure we would've done better nymphing but with the warmer weather i was gonna stick with streamers just to see if i could move anything this time of year. we moved a fair amount of fish, landing a few of them. we fished for about 4 hours and by that time i think saxon had had enough. when we would stop he would just curl up somewhere and want to close his eyes. this was the most activity he's had yet and it seemed to put a hurtin on him. dbone ended up just putting him in his backpack and gave saxon a piggy back ride about 1/2 the way back. he is a little trooper but today kicked his ass.

12 Months of the Year

I like to post my best fish for each month of the year to close out the year on my blog. this year cause i was in saudi for the first half of it i didn't get to fish as much as i would've liked so i am missing a couple of months.

An Outing With Pat

So pat gave me a call earlier in the week and arraigned to get out and chase some trouts. we hadn't fished together in a couple of years and pat had drifted over to the other side, throwing gear at bass. the weather was frosty and the fishing was extremely slow. we only mustered a couple of fish each with both of pat's reaching the 20" mark. it was good to see pat again as we used to fish quite a bit together.

Training Day

Today was more about just getting saxon on the water for the first time then fishing, although i thought i could've at least mustered a whitie, but couldn't introduce my new pooch to a fish. he did a lot better then i had expected and stayed close by the whole time. well, the only time he wasn't by my side was when i train rolled by and he panicked and went running off until i called him back then he made sure that he was right in between my feet until the train had passed.

A Short Minute

When out locally for a couple of hours to some water. the lower river is frozen over so fished up further. temp wise i was surprisingly comfortable. the fishing was slow and only managed to nymph up one small whitie and a decent brown.
