Chasing browns

It's been awhile

 since ive spent any time on this piece of water. used to fish it a few times a year but havent really for a few years now. met up with matt at 0530 and off we went. i had contemplated bailing cause of my back being shot but i chose to go anyway. thankfully my back didnt really give me any fits but am paying for it now. the 1st couple of hours was pretty damn slow but shortly after the sun warmed things up we switched to dries and things really picked up for us. i got into a few really nice fish for the small water.

The Berry

4 of us drove over to the berry but by the end of the day that we were a bit early, as far as the temps are concerned. it is still way to hot for these fish to be consistently aggressive. between the 4 of us, we caught 4 fish and  i was not one of them. i hit 2 on a mouse and that was it for me. it was about as bad as ive seen it fish.
