A shit day

Me and matt went for a drive to hit some water. matt got the party started right in the very first run but after that it was pretty shitty, we  fished up so far then crossed over to a trib. it was pretty slow as well and then at the end of the day i had realized that i had lost my wallet somewhere on the river.  i left work early the following day to walk the river again but could not find it.

2 for 1

Myself and Gerald hit the river at sun up. the flows weren't to bad and the temps weren't bad either. we fished up the river a good ways till we got to a point that we were gonna head back to the cars and drive up further. we caught a couple of fish on the way up and then on the way back down gerald re-hashed a couple of holes and in one pulled out a stud 22 inch brown. it actually looked bigger then what it was. we then drove upstream but we decided to fish a feeder streamer to the river instead. it proved to be quite productive so we just fished it for the rest of the day.

Started off frosty

Met up with chris at around 7ish but we only lasted a short minute. it was so cold that our streamers would not thaw and if they were already thawed then they would freeze up in the water. we called it but on my way home, where it was a bit warmer i met up with matt much lower on the river. the weather was great there but the fishing sucked.

A few hours with Jerry

After jerry finally showed up we headed out to the water. the heavy rains brought the flows up just a little and dirtied the water but not so bad that it wasnt fishable. the day had started off shitty and it continued that way. jerry caught the only fish of the day and it was a small one

After work

Went out yesterday after work for an hour or so. picked up 2 fish. 19 inches was the biggest and it came out from underneath a small ice shelf sitting on the top of a hole

1st of the year

Ive been here in utah for 14yrs now and today i hit a section that i had maybe spent 3hrs total on in the past. not interested in the whole downtown seen as far as fishing goes but my normal sections are still awefully low so i gave it a shot after work. the water was great and the fishing wasnt to bad either. a few browns, a couple of cutts and a rainbow. only 2 fish were picture worthy and both were 20+

As expected

Went out the other day for a couple of hours. the water is still a piss trickle. i moved a couple of fish but nothing to hand

Not from the 1st

Last week i checked out a section of water that in the last 14 years i have fished maybe 5 times. never had any success but this time i lost 1 and landed this little brown. shit thats a success in my book
